Privacy Policy
The short version. Space Wiki does not collect personal data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. Your child's progress is saved only on your own device, and you can delete it any time.
1. Who is responsible

2. What we do not collect
We never collect a name, email address, age, photo, location or any other personal detail, from a child or from a grown-up. There is no sign-up and no login. If you choose to add kid profiles or family members, the first names and ages you type stay on your device only (see section 3).
There are no advertising networks, analytics tools or social media trackers in Space Wiki.
3. What stays on your device
To remember where your child is in the game, Space Wiki saves a few small notes in the app's own storage on your device: what has been found on each map, the chosen language, that a grown-up agreed to the terms, with the terms version and the date, and, if you add them, a first name or nickname and an age group for each kid profile, trivia scores, and the names and ages you type into "Our family in space".
These notes never leave your device and we cannot see them. To delete them, remove a kid profile in the app, or clear the app's data in your phone or tablet settings. The grown-up check and terms screen will then appear again.
4. Spoken names
Space Wiki says names and short lines out loud with recordings built into the app. Where a recording is missing, it uses the speech voice built into your device or browser. On most devices this happens on the device itself. Some devices use their maker's online voice service instead; that is controlled by your device settings, and Space Wiki does not send anything of its own.
5. Hosting and delivery
Like every website, the server that delivers spacewiki.app receives your IP address and basic technical details (such as browser type) so it can send you the pages. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived security logs. We do not use this information to identify or profile anyone. The website is served by Cloudflare: its fonts and pictures come from our own server.
The app itself contacts nobody: its fonts, pictures, maps and everything else are built in. The only exception is the store's own purchase screen, which Google Play or the App Store shows when a grown-up buys or restores Space Wiki Pro.
6. Children
Space Wiki is designed for children and is built so that no personal data about a child is ever collected. A grown-up agrees to the terms before a child plays, and a child never has to fill anything in.
7. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain. Because Space Wiki holds no personal data, there is usually nothing to hand over, but you are always welcome to ask at hello@spacewiki.app. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).
8. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the version number and date at the top of this page.
